PASTORAL

PURPOSE

We are aware of the challenge we have, religious and laity, each and every one of us who feel belonging to the TELLISTA FAMILY. That is why we understand life itself, as a project that implies knowing that our decisions not only affect ourselves, but start from an invitation that is the call of God.

It is therefore that, our Purpose is to respond to this invitation to follow Jesus as Way, Truth and Life.

We work for this, in SHARED MISSION, feeling responsible for each other and for the evangelizing mission entrusted.

Our COMMITMENT is to put all our capacities and opportunities to improve the reality that surrounds us, thus responding to God's call to bring the Gospel in the style of Mother Matilde.

TELLISTA FAMILY

The daughters of Mary Mother of the Church and the laity who work with them in SHARED MISSION, together with all those people who are related, in one way or another, to the works of the HMMI make up the TELLISTA FAMILY.

In the path of 150 years that the HMMI have made the dream of Mother Matilde, our experience of the Eucharist, has led us to respond with love, both in accompaniment and in prayer, to the presence of Christ in the Eucharist; and to share our lives and gifts with our brothers.

We evangelize through:

Integral Christian education, the reception of marginalized children, care for the sick, elderly, poor and social promotion of children, young people and adults, parish and rural pastoral care and reception in houses of spirituality.

TELLISTA GROUPS

It is a Youth movement of growth in faith, which gathers around Jesus, to share ideals, projects and illusions. It's an option Voluntary for those who want to follow the path started by Mother Matilde.

But there's something else. Tellista groups are not just a fun catechesis that helps us increase our faith. Its mission is that both children and their monitors go from seeing God in classrooms, in books and crucifixes, to finding Him alive in the middle of their lives.

For this we hold fortnightly meetings with the aim of LIVING IN FRATERNITY, JOY AND SIMPLICITY, in the style of Mother Matilde, OPENING OURSELVES TO OTHERS and SPREADING THE MESSAGE OF JESUS.

SOLIDARITY PROJECTS

Our TELLISTA CHARISM is expressed in many ways in the different works of the HMMI but Mother Matilde made it very clear that, for our love of Jesus in the Eucharist and Mary Mother of the Church, we must perform acts of love in favor of our neighbor, the needy, children, young people, the elderly and the sick.

This leads us to participate in our schools in different CAMPAIGNS throughout the course: DOMUND, OPERATION KILO, SOLIDARITY CAR, OPERATION SANDWICH, CAMPAIGN AGAINST HUNGER.

And to TWIN the schools with the missions of the HMMI in SOLIDARITY PROJECTS.
